Granddaughter complains to the grandmother that her husband cheated on her: Her wisdom changed her outlook on life
How do you react to life’s problems? Do you get better with each new day or do you just not let trouble destroy your spirit?
An inspiring story spreading on the Internet will show you how you should deal with all the obstacles that life puts in your way.
The young woman complained to her grandmother that her husband had cheated on her. She didn’t know how she would survive all that and she wanted to give up on everything.
She was tired of fighting. It seemed to her that a new problem always appeared in her life as soon as some old one was solved.
Grandma took her to the kitchen. She poured water into three pots and set them on the burner. She filled the first with carrots, the second with eggs, and the third with ground coffee.
She let them boil. She switched off the stove after twenty minutes. She brought out carrots, eggs, and coffee to serve.
She turned to her granddaughter and said to her: Tell me what you see.?
“Carrots, eggs, and coffee,” the granddaughter replied.
Then her grandmother told her to touch the carrots. She did that and said they softened. Her granny instructed her to break an egg.
When the granddaughter removed the shell from it, she watched the hard-boiled egg. Eventually, her grandmother asked her to take a sip of coffee. The granddaughter laughed when she smelled its rich aroma.

Then she asked her grandmother: What does all this mean?
Her grandmother explained to her that each of these items was facing the same trouble – hot water. Everyone reacted differently.
The carrot was robust, firm, and unyielding before it entered the water, but after being subjected to hot water, it softened and became feeble.
The egg was fragile, its thin shell protected the interior, but after staying in hot water, the interior became hard. However, the coffee behaved uniquely. She changed the water during cooking.
What are you? How do you respond when misfortune comes knocking? Are you a carrot, coffee or egg?
- Think about this. What am I? Am I a carrot that is seemingly strong but faced with pain becomes soft and loses its strength?
- Am I an egg that changes because of the heat? Has it grown rigid, stiff, and lifeless as a result of death, loss, rupture, or any other calamitous event? Is my shell the same on the surface, but am I bitter and have a hard heart on the inside?
- Or am I like coffee? Coffee changed the water, which brought her pain. When the water becomes hot, the coffee emits a smell and taste. If you are like coffee, you improve and modify the situation around you when things are at their worst. Are you the one that goes to a higher level when the pain is the worst and the problem is the most severe?
