Why Elon Musk buys Iodine-Rich Mineral Water In Small Country Of Serbia

Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, has stated his intention to buy a factory and the right to exploit iodine-rich mineral water

“From thorns to stars”, wrote Elon Musk last night, the new owner of “Twitter” on his account and collected ten thousand likes in two minutes, that is, so many people said they liked what he said on his social network.

This eccentric inventor, the founder of the electric car company “Tesla” and the richest man in the world these days is the most popular person on the planet, but also in Serbia.

On the same day when he announced that he was buying “Twitter” for 44 billion dollars, we published the news that he was interested in buying Novi Sad mineral water “Minakva”.

By expressing his intention to buy a factory and the right to exploit water, famous for its rich iodine content, Musk continued to attract public attention and weave controversy around himself.

Because it is believed that this chemical element prevents the harmful effects of radioactive radiation.

Tomislav Jovanovic, a professor at the Medical Faculty in Belgrade and a water expert, says the main advantage of Minakva is that it contains iodine.

Iodine neutralizes radioactivity and primarily fights to preserve the thyroid gland, the organ that is the first to be hit by increased radiation.

When asked how much that amount of iodine in water neutralizes radioactivity, he answered that it only acts preventively and slows down possible harmful consequences.

There are many unknowns. For now, Elon Musk has only expressed his intention to buy a water factory and exploitation rights.

Does he need a brand, will he do processing, is he interested in “Minakva” natural without additives or even carbonated?

The website of this Novi Sad company says that the factory was privatized in 1999, that it functions as a joint stock company, that the majority owner is the Bogicevic family and that it is headed by Branislav Bogicevic.

Whether Elon Musk, in search of water rich in iodine, will give the Novi Sad company an offer that is not rejected, or maybe this is his marketing trick remains to be seen.

He is a man who is said to see a century ahead of others, only he realizes his futurism in real-time.

Last year, at the age of 50, he started as the richest man on the “Forbes” list, and ended up as the most influential, according to “Time” magazine.
